Movie Mondays!


This is where it all begins!!! If you’re one of those rare people who hasn’t seen an episode of LOST or watched one and wondered what was happening, you must do yourself the justice and watch this series from the beginning. I clearly remember coming to LOST without expectations but after the two-hour premiere I was hooked! You will be too! Is it sci-fi? Is it supernatural? Is it romance? LOST squarely has a foot in all these genres and the ensemble cast assures the viewer at least one character will become a favorite. LOST is the kind of series with many layers and plot threads, some may seem disposable at first, but beware! Often they’re not. It begins with a plane crash, one of the most breathless, uncomfortable to watch sequences ever to be shown on television and from there we are introduced to the strangers who survived the crash of Oceanic 815. A motley crew of conflicting personalities trapped, having to figure out a way to survive as they are cast into the role of modern day Robinson Crusoes. Just where have they landed though? What is the history behind this mysterious and dangerous island they find themselves on? Will they be able to find their way back to civilization? We learn about the characters through flashbacks as they learn about each other. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s vastly entertaining and if you have you will probably want to rewatch these episodes to remind you of the twists and turns this tortuous trail has taken over the four seasons of the series!
